Well, we are delighted to let you know that our little boy was born on 31 March 2012 (8 days late!) weighing in at 7lb 10oz! His birth was a successful VBAC with only gas and air up until 8.5cm and then nothing!! I intend to blog about the birth as soon as I get more than 5 minutes!! He did have some problems immediately after birth as he swallowed some meconium on his way out but I'm pleased to say that he latched straight away and has been a complete boob monster since. He regained his birth weight by day 5, which we were amazed at, especially after all of the problems I had with breastfeeding when our eldest was born. update-77 Thu, 20 Dec 2012 GMT http://www.boobbaby.co.uk/latest-news/delivery-charges/ Many of you will be aware that from 30 April, Royal Mail will be increasing their postage prices. Unfortunatley this has meant that we have had to review our delivery prices. This price increase will mostly impact on orders made with us that are under £10. We have decided that the fairest way of dealing with the price increase is to have a flat delivery charge of £3.25 for all orders under £75. Delivery for orders over £75 will remain free of charge and our Express Delivery charge will also remain unchanged. We have tried to keep this delivery price as low as we possibly can. Breast pumps and expressing are contentious topics in lactivist circles and are issues that I will be writing an article about soon (if I can find time after looking after my 1 year old, going to work and running the business!). The group provides mother to mother breastmilk sharing in the UK. Eats on Feets was initially set up in America after the original creator received a phone call from a mother who was desperate to find breastmilk for her newborn. Her needs were posted on Facebook and there was an immediate response. The scheme, which has been developed by the Liverpool Primary Care Trust and the City Council encourages shops, cafes and restaurants to welcome breastfeeding mothers into their premises. Businesses who sign up to the scheme will display a sticker showing that they welcome breastfeeding mothers.
